Upchurch, Andrew

Born 1893 Flowerdale Tasmania the son of Ernest and Emily Margaret Upchurch (nee Muir) an engine driver he departed Melbourne 27^th October 1915 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 12^th Battalion when he was killed in action 6^th April 1917 in France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
