Walch, Garnet
Born 12th March 1896 Hobart Tasmania the son of Charles Morrice and Aida Louisa Augusta Walch (nee Bailey) a pastoralist living at Swansea Tasmania he embarked Melbourne 4th May 1916 on board “HMAT Port Lincoln” with the 13th Field Artillery Brigade.
He was killed in action 25th October 1917 at Westhoek Ridge, Ypres, Belgium And is commemorated in theThe Huts Cemetery, Ypres, Flanders, Belgium
