Walker, Albert George
Born 17th July 1895 Westbury Tasmania the son of Charles and Mary Anne Walker (nee Charlesworth) a labourer he embarked Hobart 1st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.
He was appointed Lance Corporal 3rd August 1917 and then Temporary Corporal on the 13th October 1917.
He was killed in action 12th October 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Cemetery, Passchendaele, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium
