Walker, Albert George

Born 17^th July 1895 Westbury Tasmania the son of Charles and Mary Anne Walker (nee Charlesworth) a labourer he embarked Hobart 1^st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was appointed Lance Corporal 3^rd August 1917 and then Temporary Corporal on the 13^th October 1917.

He was killed in action 12^th October 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Cemetery, Passchendaele, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium
