Waller, Sydney Murray

Studio portrait of 7351 Private (Pte) Sydney Murray Waller, 40th Battalion, of Huonville, Tasmania. An orchard hand prior to enlistment, Pte Waller embarked with the 24th Reinforcements, 12th Battalion, from Adelaide aboard HMAT Seang Bee (A48) on 10 February 1917. He died of illness in France on the 12 November 1918, aged 20.
