Walters, William Thomas

Born 1890 Evandale Tasmania to Frederick and Jane Walters (nee Downey) a drover from Blackall Queensland he embarked Brisbane 30^th March 1916 on board “HMAT Star of Victoria” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He died from wounds received at Pozieres and was buried in the Puchevillers British Cemetery, France.
