Walters, William Thomas
Born 1890 Evandale Tasmania to Frederick and Jane Walters (nee Downey) a drover from Blackall Queensland he embarked Brisbane 30th March 1916 on board “HMAT Star of Victoria” with the 26th Infantry Battalion. He died from wounds received at Pozieres and was buried in the Puchevillers British Cemetery, France.
