Warren, Alfred

 

 

The son of J H Warren, 17 Williamson Street, North Hobart, Tasmania, a 19 year old horse driver he embarked Melbourne 30th September 1916 on board “HMAT Suffolk with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was killed in action 6th April 1917 in France and like others with no known grave is commemorated on the  Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France
