Watchorn John Frederick

Born 23^rd December 1884 Hobart Tasmania to William John and Eliza Jane Watchorn (nee Moore) he enlisted New Zealand and served in the 15th (North Auckland) Company 1st Battalion Auckland Regiment.

He reached the rank of Lance Corporal and was killed in action 28^th September 1916 in France and is commemorated in the Thistle Dump Cemetery, High Wood, Longueval, France.
