Mapping our Anzacs

Born 1894 Kempton Tasmania the son of Theodore and Elizabeth Watling (nee Oliver) a labourer who embarked Melbourne 22^nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ceramic” with the 15^th Infantry Battalion.

He died 7^th August 1915 from wounds to the abdomen and arm received on the Gallipoli Peninsula and was buried in the Embarkation Pier Cemetery, Gallipoli, Turkey.
