Watson Harry Joseph
Born 16th October 1898 Launceston Tasmania the son of Henry Clay and Ada Grace Watson (nee Wadley) an18 year old school teacher he embarked 5th January 1916 on board “HMAT Afric” with the 6th Field Artillery Brigade
Grandson of the late Lt Colonel W C Watson of the Bengal Native Infantry
He died 5th October 1917 at the 6th Australian Field Ambulance from shell wounds to the stomach and was buried in the Menin Road South Military Cemetery, Ypres, Flanders, Belgium
