Webb, Clarence Albert Edward
Born 13th October 1893 Glenorchy Tasmania to Richard Walter Charles and Henrietta Amelia Webb (nee Jones) a farmer who embarked Melbourne 17th September 1914 on board “HMAT Geelong” with the 12th Infantry Battalion. He was wounded twice on the Gallipoli Peninsula and died of diptheria in the Government Hospital Suez and is buried in the Suez War Memorial Cemetery, Egypt.
