Wells, Arthur Birney

Born 18^th March 1896 Moriarty Tasmania to Benjamin and Mary Ann Wells (nee Sales) a blacksmith who departed Sydney 20^th January 1916 on board “HMAT Runic” with the 3^rd Field Ambulance

 He was killed in action 1^st November 1917 and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium
