Welsh, Edwin Raymond

 

 

Born Kempton Tasmania to James and Mary Welsh (nee Homan) a labourer who embarked Melbourne 27th October 1915 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 26th Infantry Battalion.

 He died 24th July 1916 at the 3rd Casualty Clearing Station from gunshot wounds received in the field and was buried in the Puchevillers British Cemetery, France.
