Wickins, Vernon John

Born Glebe Tasmania to Vernon Evan and Mary Wickens (nee McGinnis) married and a railway porter who embarked Melbourne 17^th April 1915 on board “HMAT Hororata” with the 15^th Infantry Battalion.

Lance Corporal Wickens was killed in action on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli, Turkey.
