Williams, Alfred Daniel

Born 25^th May 1885 Hobart Tasmania to William Richmond and Tabitha Williams (nee Watkins) a labourer who embarked Melbourne 24^th August 1916 on board “HMAT Botanist” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

Pte Williams was killed instantly 5^th May 1917 by a shell at Bullecourt France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
