Williams, Alfred Daniel
Born 25th May 1885 Hobart Tasmania to William Richmond and Tabitha Williams (nee Watkins) a labourer who embarked Melbourne 24th August 1916 on board “HMAT Botanist” with the 12th Infantry Battalion. Pte Williams was killed instantly 5th May 1917 by a shell at Bullecourt France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
