Williams, Russell

 

Born Hobart Tasmania the son of John Charles and Alice Williams a draper he embarked Melbourne 23rd November 1915 on board “HMAT Ceramic” with the 3rd Light Horse Regiment.

 

He was serving with the 2nd Field Artillery Brigade when he was killed in action 17th October 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated inThe Huts Cemetery, Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
