Williams, Wilfred Alfred
He was born Hobart Tasmania the son of Kathleen Williams of 36 Queen Street Sandy Bay a labourer who embarked Hobart 1st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.
A Court of Enquiry found he was killed in action 5th October 1917 at Ypres in Belgium after being listed as wounded and missing. He is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium
