Williamson, Clements Fred

Born 1889 Mersey Tasmania the son of Frederick and Sarah Jane Williamson (nee Revell) a labourer he embarked Sydney 14^th June 1917 on board “HMAT Hororata” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 40^th Battalion when he was admitted to the 11^th Australian Field Ambulance on the 28^th March 1918 with a gunshot wound to the thigh and died 29^th March 1918 at the 3^rd Canadian Stationary Hospital. He was buried in the Doullens Communal Cemetery Extension No 1, France.
