Williamson, Gordon Frederick

 

 

Born 1898 Hobart Tasmania the son of Richard and Isabella Charles Williamson (nee Cairnduff) a plumber he embarked Melbourne 8th February 1916 on board “HMAT Warilda” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was killed in action 19th August 1916 at Pozieres France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France
