Wilson William James

Born St Mary’s Tasmania the son of James and Catherine Wilson a coach driver he enlisted Hobart Tasmania 26^th January 1915 and embarked Melbourne 17^th April 1915 on board “HMAT Hororata” with the 15^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 7^th August 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey
