Wilson, George William

 

 

 

 

Born 1894 Launceston Tasmania the son of John George and Hannah Wilson (nee Sice) a hairdresser he embarked Melbourne 24th November 1915 on board RMS Orontes with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

 He was mortally wounded at Messines and died 11th January 1918 and was buried in the Trois Arbres Cemetery, Steenwerck, France.
