Windsor, Eric Henry Murray

 ERIC HENRY MURRAY WINDSOR

 

 

 

Born 4th January 1889 Hobart Tasmania the son of Thomas John and Ida Beatrice Windsor (nee Harrison) an orchardist he embarked Melbourne 11th May 1917 on board “HMAT Ascanius” with the Field Artillery Brigade Reinforcements.

 

He was serving with the 101th Howitzer Battery when he died 14th October 1917 at the 10th Casualty Clearing Station Belgium from gunshot wounds to the legs and was buried in Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium
