Wing, George James Argent

Born 1893 Ulverstone Tasmania to George Henry and Edith Wing (nee Delaney) a farmer he embarked Hobart 20^th October 1914 on board “HMAT Geelong” with the 3^rd Light Horse Regiment.

Trooper Wing died 6^th February 1915 (probably the first Tasmanian to die in WW1) of pneumonia and was buried in the Cairo War Memorial Cemetery, Egypt.
