Studio portrait of 4401 Private (Pte) Cyril Bertram Wise, 15th Battalion, of Longford, Tas. Pte Wise enlisted on 5 October 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Kyarra on 3 January 1916. He was killed in action on 8 August 1916 at Mouquet Farm in the Pozieres area of France. His death is commemorated at the Villers Bretonneux Memorial.
