Worsley, Tasman
Born 1886 Longley Tasmania the son of Arthur Leslie Worsley a labourer living in Queenstown he departed Hobart 20th October 1914 on board “HMAT Geelong” with the 12th Infantry Battalion. He became ill on the Gallipoli Peninsula and died 11th July 1915 of Acute Ascending Paralysis (Landry’s) on board hospital ship “Gascon” off Gaba Tepe and is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli, Turkey.
