A studio portrait of 3706 Private (Pte) Thomas Herbert Wragg, 26th Battalion, of Somerset, Tas. A labourer before enlisting in August 1915, Pte Wragg left Australia for Egypt as a part of the 8th Reinforcements in September 1915. Arriving in France for service on the Western Front in March 1916, Pte Wragg was killed during the 2nd Division's attack on the Hindenburg Line at Bullecourt, France, on the 3 May 1917, aged 28. He has no known grave.
