Wright, Charles Nevin

Born 1897 Zeehan Tasmania the son of Charles Alfred and Frances Matilda Wright (nee Statton) a bank clerk who was 2^nd Lieutenant in cadets when he enlisted he embarked Melbourne 6^th December 1916 on board “HMAT Orsova” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

Cpl Wright died 5^th October 1917 in the 22^nd General Hospital in France from gunshot wounds to the chest and head and was buried in the Etaples Military Cemetery, France.
