Studio portrait of 3364 Private (Pte) Thomas Wright, 26th Battalion, of Abbotsham, Tas. A tailor prior to enlisting in September 1915, Pte Wright embarked from Hobart with the 7th Reinforcements on board HMAT Ajana (A31) on 13 December 1915. He was killed in action at Pozieres, France, on 5 August 1916. Pte Wright was 20 years of age.
