York, Frederick James

Born 1894 Wilmot Tasmania the son of Samuel John and Mary Ann York (nee White) a farmer he embarked Melbourne 7^th September 1916 on board “HMAT Port Sydney” with the 13^th Field Artillery Brigade.

He died 17^th October 1917 at the 17^th Casualty Clearing Station from multiple gunshot wounds and was buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
