York, Frederick James
Born 1894 Wilmot Tasmania the son of Samuel John and Mary Ann York (nee White) a farmer he embarked Melbourne 7th September 1916 on board “HMAT Port Sydney” with the 13th Field Artillery Brigade.
He died 17th October 1917 at the 17th Casualty Clearing Station from multiple gunshot wounds and was buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
