Born 1890 Campbell Town Tasmania the son of Cecil James and Mary Dinah Youl (nee Macmichael) married to Helen Louise Jackson he enlisted and embarked Sydney 9th September 1916 on board “HMAT Euripides” with the 1st Infantry Battalion.

 

He died 8th January 1917 at the Fargo Military Hospital from pneumonia and was buried in the Durrington Cemetery, Durrington, Wiltshire, England, United Kingdom 

 

Private Vivian Youl died in Fargo Military Hospital, England, on January 8, of pneumonia. Prior to enlistment he was in the office of Messrs. Norton Griffiths and Co. He has left a widow and a daughter.
