Young, Joseph Allan

Born 1895 Sorell Tasmania the son of John and Sarah Ann Young (nee Tustin) a farmer he embarked Melbourne 23^rd September 1916 on board “HMAT Seang Choon” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 4^th October 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated on the  Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, Flanders, Belgium
