Born 25 Mar 1912 West Pine Tasmania to Thomas and Lily May Aitken (nee Clark) he died 15 Oct 1945 at the AGH Campbell Town of acute leukemia. 

He was buried 17 Oct in the War Cemetery at Carr Villa Tasmania

AITKEN-Pte. Nimmo Thomas Aitken, on October 15, 1945, at 111th A.G.H. Campbell Town, dearly loved husband of Emily Aitken, loving father of Shirley, Phyllis and Edna, and eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. T, Aitken, Penguin; aged 35 years.
