Born 1st June 1916 East Cam Burnie Tasmania to James Henry and Esther Alexander (nee Brown) Pte Alexander was a Pulp Mills Employee when he enlisted in the AIF. He contracted cholera whilst a prisoner of war in Thailand and died 12 July 1943. He is commemorated at the Kanchanburi Cemetery Thailand.
