DESPATCH RIDER KILLED Collision at Hobart Fatal injuries were received on Saturday afternoon by Lindsay Leyton Allen (l8), a despatch rider attached to the Signals Section, Anglesea Barracks, Hobart. Riding his motor-cycle on military duty on the Sandy Bay Rd., he collided at the entrance to the Wrest Pt. Riviera Hotel with a milk delivery panel motor-van driven by Raymond Murray Livingston, of 53 Red Chapel Ave. The cycle was smashed, and Allen was thrown to the roadway. He was given first aid by members of the Civil Defence Legion, who were conducting exercises in the Sandy Bay sector, and was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital. He died yesterday afternoon. Allen was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Sydney Leyton Allen, of Lymington. The Coroner (Col.
