Service Number TX3042 Death Date 4/06/1944 Place of Death torpedoing Jap transport Cause of Death Drowned Burial

 

Born 29 July 1910 Kindred Tasmania to Henry James and Alice Arnold, was a Sergeant with the 2/3rd Machine Gun Battalion.  He was a prisoner of war on board the “Tamahoko Maru” which was sunk 24 June 1944. 

He is commemorated on the Singapore War Memorial
