Son of Henry Hobart Bailey and Lavina Mary Bailey

Born 3^rd January 1909 Huonville Tasmania to Henry Hobart and Lavinia Mary Baily (nee Craike) he enlisted Hobart Tasmania and was posted to the 2/40^th Battalion (infantry)

He was a prisoner of war in Thailand and died of illness on the 11^th June 1943 and is commemorated in the Kanchanburi War Cemetery
