BANNISTER.-On September 25, 1942 (as the result of aircraft accident), Middle East, Sgt-Observer John Russell (Jock), dearly loved husband of Stella Mae Bannister; and loved elder son of Mr and Mrs R. J. Bannister, and brother of Ralph, New Norfolk.

Sgt-Observer J. R. Bannister (left), a member of the RAAF, was killed in an aircraft accident in the Middle East. He was on the staff of the Education Dept. and his wife lives at New Norfolk.
