We would like to thank Rhonda Martin for the photo of her uncle Ron, the picture of his grave and also for part of a letter he wrote to Rhonda’s mother telling her he would be home for Christmas…….

Born 19^th April 1922, he hadn’t reached his 20^th. Birthday when he died 9^th. April 1942
