Bellette, Hector Basil

 

Born 11 Dec 1903 at Orford Tasmania the son of Felix and Margaret Bellette (nee Gregson) he was a

member of 2/10 Field Company Royal Australian Engineers when he died died 25 Sep 1943 working on the Burma Railway. 

Member of the Forces

 BELLETTE.-In loving memory of T-X4136 Spr Hector B. Bellette who died while prisoner of war in Siam. September, 1943. 

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his country

Inserted by his loving brothers, Athol, Harold, and Arthur, and sister Kath.
