Bossward, Maxwell Royden
TASMAN IAN'S DEATH Thailand Prisoner Mr and Mrs S. R. Bossward of 1 Wignall St, North Hobart, have received advice of the death of their only son, WO M. R. Bossward, at a prisoner of war camp in Thailand on Dec. 26. WO Bossward was aged 24 years. He was educated at Campbell St. Practising School, and for many years was an active leader in the Boy Scout movement, associated with the YMCA troop. He was a member of the Derwent Sailing Squadron, and sailed in Redpa. WO Bossward was keenly interested in military training, and served for some time in the militia forces with the AAMC before he went on active service. He was affianced to Miss Marie Anderson of Hobart The Mercury 24 Aug 1944
