World War 11 Casualties
Brock, Henry James
The son of Harold J and Jean MacBeth Brock (nee Tulloch) of Glenora Tasmania. Beaufighter NV 414 with Flying Officer Brock as pilot took off from RAF Dallachy on 27th Feb 1945 to carry out an anti shipping strike from Naze eastward to Plae. A message was received “port engine cut at 500 ft. cause unknown, set course for base”. The navigator baled out and was uninjured. FO Brock is buried in the Hune Churchyard Denmark
