Advice has been received by Mr. and Mrs. Bruce H. Brown, formerly of 17 Ferguson square, Toorak Gardens, now of 189 Hotham street. East Melbourne, that their younger son Sgt-Pilot John Maxwell Brown 21, lost his life as the result of an aircraft accident in combat exercises in Algeria on May 24.
