Byard, Charles Seddon

Born Wynyard Tasmania to Herbert Walters and Elsie Margaret Byard – Pte Byard was a labourer at Preolenna when he enlisted.

Killed in Action

General regret was expressed at Preolenna when news of the death in action of Pte. Chas. Byard was received. The sympathy of the community goes to Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Byard and family in their great loss. Pte. Byard was a fine young man and a general favorite.
