Carey, Alfred Atkinson

 

Son of Lucius George and Agnes Carey and listed as a tobacco grower of Macquarie Plains when he enlisted in the AIF and was posted to the 2/40th Battalion 

Members of the Forces

CAREY.-Pte A. A. Carey, TX2591, 2/40th Battalion, died of illness while prisoner of war in Japan, loving husband of late Corrie Carey, and loving father of Marlene Carey, aged 36 years. Date unknown.
