Cheese, William Desmond

Born 13^th July 1921 the son of Arthur Reginald and Elsie Cheese of King Island , William Cheese was an Insurance Clerk before he joined the R.A.A.F and being posted to No. 460 Squadron. On the 2^nd June 1942 he was involved in an operation to Essen , the plane was lost and the crew captured. William Cheese died of wounds on the 20^th July 1942. He was 21 years old.
