Crawford, Stanley Arthur

 

Born 20th April 1918 Penguin Tasmania to Arthur Stephen James and Edith Caroline Crawford (nee Sushames). 

He was with the 2/3 Machine Gun Battalion and on the 3rd July 1942 he was reported wounded and missing in the Pacific Zone.  As a POW he was on the Tamahoko Maru which was part of a convoy on its way to Japan and sunk on the 24th June 1944
