Car Sought By Police The police are seeking information about a grey tourer motorcar which was travelling along the Channel Highway near Electrona from the direction of Hobart about 4 pm on Oct. 20. An inquest, opened at Kingston yesterday by the Coroner (Mr Sorell) on the death of Darcy Roderick Cross, was adjourned to enable the police to trace the car. Cross died as a result of an accident near Electrona on Oct. 20. Constant Leslie Dalco said he and Cross had five or six drinks at Margate during the afternoon. Cross had shandies. They left Margate by car for Snug, with Cross driving. Near Electrona a grey tourer car approaching in the opposite direction on its wrong side of the road forced Cross to swerve. Cross' car struck a post swerved to the other side of the road and overturned. James Kennedy Pearson, inspector of motor vehicles, said he inspected Cross' car.
