Cunningham Ivan John
Petty Officer Ivan John Cunningham is the adopted son of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Brough of Lindisfarne school. He was educated at the East Launceston School and Launceston Technical school. About eight years ago he entered the Navy and was one of the crew that went to England for H.M.A.S. Sydney. Later he spent several months in the Mediterranean. He was a member of the crew of H.M.A.S. Perth from the time she left England for Australia. He was well known in the Cygnet district where for some years he was assistant scoutmaster of St Mark's troop. His wife, formerly Miss Rita Farrell, and infant daughter live at Frankston (V.), and his brother Mr. Arthur Cunningham, at Lenah Valley. The Mercury 17 Mar 1942
