World War 11 Casualties
Dalco William George
Born 16 Jan 1911 Alexandra Hospital Battery Point Tasmania to Thomas William and Louise Katherine Dalco (nee Evans). Flying Officer Dalco was working as an analytical chemist when he enlisted in the RAAF. He was attached to RAF 37 squadron and on board Wellington L7860 which was seen shot down over the aerodrome at Skarpanto Greece on the on the 29th May 1941. All six of the crew was killed. They were buried in the Rhodes War Cemetery Greece.
