Davey Bert Leonard

Born 25^th April 1907 English Town Tasmania to George and Martha Jane Davey (nee Colgrave and married to Rene Olive Davey (nee Page) of Longford.  

He was a gunner with the 2/8 Field Regiment RAA when he died of illness on the 5^th August 1940. 

He was buried at Cornelian Bay Cemetery on the 7^th Aug 1940

MELBOURNE, Thursday.-A Tasmanian casualty list issued today reports that Gunner B. L. Davey, artillary, has died of illness while on service in Australia
