Davies Raymond Elwin

 

Born 1st Dec 1918 21 Hill St Hobart to Sarah Kate Pearce and brought up by Ernest and Florence Davies of Hobart he was attached to the 2/31 Battalion serving in New Guinea when he died of illness.

DAVIES, Lance Corporal, RAYMOND ELWIN, TX32. A.LF. 2/31 Bn. Australian Infantry. 22nd November 1942. Age 23. Son of Ernest D. Davies and Florence M. Davies, of Hobart, Tasmania; nephew of Sarah Kate Pearce, of Cambridge, Tasmania. A6. D. 9.
